Missions stadium redevelopment moves one step closer

Major renovation plans for a minor league stadium cleared an early hurdle today. The city's Historic and Design Review Commission unanimously granted conceptual approval of the design for a downtown Missions stadium and related development projects. The commission will still need to give final approval to more detailed plans before the projects can get permitting to build.
