Found miles downstream: Bandera County flood rescue

Overnight rain turned a quiet stretch of road in Bandera County into a desperate race against rising floodwaters. A woman called 911 from her vehicle around 5 a.m. Monday as she was being swept away — crews used a cell phone ping to zero in on her location, but the search stretched for hours along Lower Mason Creek Road and Chipman Lane.
