Real San Antonian: Belinda Menchaca preserves tradition at the Guadalupe Dance Co.

Belinda Menchaca has been at the Guadalupe Dance Company since 1991--her passion for Mexican Folklorico grew into the Guadalupe Dance Academy and she has been teaching and guiding generation after generation. The mission of the dance academy is to teach the history and tell a story through the art of dance, while including Mexican artists to perform across the city. Many of the students stay for years as they build lifelong relationships and carry on the art while staying connected to their heritage.
