From doodles to a dream come true

This retired San Antonian artist is turning a lifelong love of doodling into a vibrant new chapter, showcasing his 17-piece “Every Kind of People” series at In the Eye of the Beholder Art Gallery in St. Paul Square. The segment highlights how his work uses unexpected materials and inclusive imagery that doesn’t represent gender or race, while the city’s only Black-owned gallery serves as a community space for connection and conversation.
