UTSA footballs new tradition of earning jersey numbers causing confusion at practice

UTSA football practices are as intense as ever with single-digit jersey numbers on the line. Numbers zero through nine are earned by a player-based voting system towards the tail end of fall camp. Head coach Jeff Traylor started the tradition last year, and he playfully admitted that the different jersey numbers has caused some confusion amongst reporters and scouts who come to watch the team.
