SAN ANTONIO – An ancient civilization is showcased in the new Maya: Hidden Worlds Revealed exhibit at the Witte Museum on Broadway.
The exhibit's seven sections highlight the story of the Mayans from the past to the present.
It is the largest traveling exhibition about the Mayan civilization and the largest exhibit ever at the Witte.
The exhibit comprises 10,000 square feet of intricate recreations of the Mayans' architectural systems and temples and numerous authentic artifacts.
There also hands-on activity stations for the whole family.
