Stars of Disney franchise 'Cars 3' stop at Santikos Palladium

SAN ANTONIO – The stars of Disney’s upcoming Pixar film “Cars 3” made a pit stop in San Antonio today as part of the Road to the Races Tour.

Life-sized replicas of Lightning McQueen, Jackson Storm and Cruz Ramirez stopped by the Santikos Palladium movie theater.

Despite the rain, fans were able to take photos with the stars of the film and got a sneak peek of the movie.

"Cars 3" is the third installment of the popular Disney franchise.

Owen Wilson returns as Lightning McQueen. Comedian Cristela Alonzo stars as Cruz Ramirez and actor Armie Hammer stars as rookie racing sensation Jackson Storm.
