SAN ANTONIO – Two people were shot during a home invasion just east of downtown overnight, San Antonio police said Thursday.
The incident occurred around 11 p.m. in the 300 block of Hammond Avenue near South Pine.
According to police said one of the victims was shot in the leg and the other was shot in the foot. The victims were taken to area hospitals for their injuries.
Police said the victims have not told them how the suspects got into the home, and they could not give a description of the shooter.
The suspects fled the scene following the shooting and did not take anything, police said.
