According to authorities, Brunet was arrested at the Llano Municipal Airport upon officials discovering hydroponic marijuana on board his aircraft.

The criminal complaint alleges that Brunet attempted to land at an unmanned airport in Bulverde last night.

His single-engine plane was tracked by The Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection and the Air and Marine Operation Center after noticing its suspicious flight pattern.

Burnet departed from both the Bulverde and Lago Vista airports after noticing law enforcement on the ground, authorities said.

He landed in Llano around midnight, where he attempted to flee on foot before being arrested, authorities said.

Authorities said they then discovered 15 duffel bags of marijuana and approximately $6,000 in cash.

Brunet is in federal custody awaiting a hearing in Austin. If convicted, he could face between five to 40 years in federal prison.
