The Defenders visited with ABC News Crisis and Terrorism Analyst Brad Garrett to get an expert’s view of what’s possible with video enhancement techniques. On TV shows and in the movies it appears video enhancement quickly and easily zooms in and clarifies images. Garrett says in the real world enhancement is limited by lots of factors including:
- The quality of the camera
- Its lens
- The distance from which the video was shot
- Lighting
