SAN ANTONIO – A Bexar County Jail deputy has been arrested and charged in a domestic violence case.
Sheriff's Department spokesman James Keith says deputies arrested Wendy Yarbrough, 47, Saturday night at her home.

Keith says the arrest came after Yarbrough got into an altercation with her spouse.
She is now charged with Assault Bodily Injury/Married.
Keith says Yarbrough is free after posting bond.
Yarbrough is posted the the Detention Division, but was on medical leave at the time of her arrest.
Keith says an internal investigation is now underway.
Yarbrough is the latest Bexar County deputy to be arrested.
There have been a string of others arrested for crimes ranging from credit card abuse to sexually assault an inmate.
