SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday that detention Deputy Juan Medrano was arrested earlier this month.
Medrano was arrested Aug. 6 in Medina County and has been charged with driving while intoxicated.

The Sheriff's Office said Medrano is being investigated. He was hired in 2008.
Detention Deputy Mark Hernandez was arrested Monday after crashing his car into the back of an 18-wheeler.
He is also facing a charge of driving while intoxicated.
