SAN ANTONIO – A driver is facing charges after crashing into a police car early Sunday morning.
According to San Antonio police, the driver of a blue car ran a stop sign at the intersection of Driftwood Street and Brady Boulevard and hit a police car.
The passenger of that car was injured and taken to an area hospital. The officer was not hurt, said police.
The driver tried running from the scene of the accident, but was later caught and arrested, said police.
He is charged with driving while intoxicated.
