Because Rios works in the jail, he does not have a BCSO vehicle, the Sheriff's Office said.

The Sheriff's Office said it will conduct an internal investigation into the deputy's alleged actions.

Rios is the third Bexar detention deputy arrested in the last three weeks.

Robert Serros, who works at the Bexar County Adult Detention Center, was arrested May 23 for allegedly assaulting his wife. He was charged with assault bodily injury-family violence and was placed on administrative leave.

David Ramos was arrested May 31 for allegedly breaking a side mirror on his ex-girlfriend's car. He was charged with criminal mischief.
