Bicyclist killed in early-morning hit-and-run

SAN ANTONIO – A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run early Saturday, police said.

The hit-and-run happened around 2 a.m. on New Braunfels Avenue near Burleson.

Police said the bicyclist was going north when he was hit by a driver from behind. He died of his injuries.

Police said the driver who hit the cyclist did not stop to help.
