City Council approves Converse annexation deal No description found
CONVERSE, Texas – The City Council has unanimously approved a deal for the annexation of the city of Converse, which includes the Glen and Camelot neighborhoods.
As part of the 17-year agreement, Converse will absorb some San Antonio and Bexar County land along Interstate 10 East.
The deal will expand Converse from just over 7 square miles to over 22 square miles. The population in Converse would eventually increase from 46,000 to 68,000 residents.
