3 men arrested on charges they solicited teen girls for sex

Cases unrelated, but arrests all made Friday

SAN ANTONIO – Three men were arrested Friday on charges they tried to get underage girls to have sex with them.

The cases were all unrelated.

Johnathan Tenorio, 31, was arrested on a charge of criminal solicitation of a minor. A 14-year-old girl told police Nov. 20, 2015, that Tenorio followed her as she was walking home from school. She said Tenorio told her he wanted to have sex with her.

A San Antonio police officer saw the girl walking away from Tenorio in tears and asked her what happened. When the officer questioned Tenorio, he said he approached the girl because he thought she was his cousin. An affidavit said Tenorio gave a videotaped statement to a detective and said he would apologize to the victim for asking her for sex.

Jeffrey Bryan Forrest, 34, was arrested on a charge of online solicitation of a minor. A U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations agent said he was working undercover, posing as a 14-year-old girl on an app called "Whisper." He said Forrest initiated contact with him, saying he was a 31-year-old and in the U.S. Marine Corps. The agent's fake identity included the information that she was a "goofy but fun grl on lackland."

The agent said Forrest began texting the "girl" and asked for nude photos, then offered "her" $5,000 for sex on Feb. 12. An affidavit said Forrest admitted to the crime and "hand wrote an apology letter to (the fake girl's) father asking his forgiveness for what he had done to (her)."

Ignacio Requenes-Ibarra, 27, was arrested on a charge of online solicitation of a minor. A 14-year-old girl said she communicated with him through an app called "Kik." The girl's mother used the child's profile to communicate with Requenes-Ibarra. She said he asked for naked photos and videos of the girl, then said he wanted to have sex with her at a local motel on March 2.

The mother contacted police, who pulled over Requenes-Ibarra for a traffic violation and released him. He messaged the girl to say he was "just stopped by police."
