Authorities said Humes fled the home and was a fugitive since then.

A warrant was issued for Humes' arrest after an investigation by Fort Worth police, authorities said.

Members of the U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force were contacted Tuesday by members of the North Texas Fugitive Task Force to assist in searching for Humes. Authorities said an investigation was initiated in finding and apprehending Humes.

Task force officers found Humes at a hospital in the 12000 block of Judson Road in Live Oak. Authorities said officers approached Humes, identified themselves and took him into custody without incident.

The Live Oak and Converse police departments assisted in the arrest.

Humes is being held at the Bexar County Sheriff's Office, awaiting extradition to Fort Worth.
