Crime Stoppers seek public's help in 2014 fatal shooting

Roland Moreno, 38, was shot, killed in 2900 block of Guadalupe St

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for a fatal shooting.

Roland Moreno, 38, (seen above) was shot around on May 26, 2014 around 9:30 p.m. in the 2900 block of Guadalupe Street.

Police said a witness saw Roland running across the street when an unknown person fired several shots at him. The suspect then fled the scene after firing the shots. 

Roland was taken to the hospital where he later died. The motive for the shooting is not presently known.

Anyone with any knowledge of the shooting is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
