Defenders Debrief: A Violent Past Dillon Collier sits down with Mark and Leslie to talk about his investigation
The KSAT 12 Defenders uncovered the violent criminal history of a Southside High School educator.
Principal Nathaniel Session was hired last summer by the district, despite a 2013 family violence conviction from the Houston area.

The Defenders also found the principal was facing an unrelated theft charge when he got the job.
Dillon Collier, the newest addition to the KSAT 12 Defenders, joined Mark and Leslie on GMSA at 9 to debrief the story. He explains how Session is allowed to be an educator in Texas, why South Side ISD declined to discuss his vetting process and when Session plans to resign.
