MEDINA COUNTY, Texas – A woman was killed in a high-impact crash Saturday in Medina County.
The fatal crash happened about seven miles west of Castroville on Highway 90.
Department of Public Safety troopers at the scene said the woman's car slammed into a guardrail and was killed on impact.
Troopers said the woman was driving to San Antonio in a rental car when the wreck happened, and that may make it more difficult to identify the victim.
