SAN ANTONIO –
A driver could face charges after he hit another vehicle and tried to run from the scene.
Police said the victim was driving west on Walzem Road near Windsor Oaks when the suspect hit the victim's vehicle.

The driver then ran off into a nearby wooded area. With the help of their helicopter, police were able to catch the suspect.
They believe the driver who fled had been drinking. He could be charged with failure to stop and render aid and intoxication assault.
Two people were in the car that was hit. A 61-year-old woman was treated for broken bones and a 5-year-old girl suffered some minor injuries.
