SAN ANTONIO – A driver slammed a car into a home, and then he and his passenger tried to get away.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. Friday on Carolina Street, just south of the Alamodome.

Witnesses told an officer they saw the car swerve, jump a curb and then hit the home.
Both men got out of the car, jumped a fence and took off running down Carolina.
An officer caught up to the pair and arrested them.
A woman was home at the time of the crash, but no one was hurt.
