SAN ANTONIO – Fire officials are investigating a fire that destroyed a far West Side home Sunday morning.
Arson investigators responded to a home in the 7900 block of Echo Wind to find it completely engulfed by flames.
Battalion Chief Doug Hatton said a father and son were inside the home at the time. The father, who is in his 70s, suffered burns to 25 percent of his body, while the son was treated for smoke inhalation.
The home is a total loss, Hatton said.
