Former Del Rio teacher faces charges of indecency, improper relationships Isaac Aldaco held at Bexar County Jail No description found
SAN ANTONIO – A former Del Rio music teacher was held at the Bexar County Jail on Friday night, after turning himself in on charges of indecency with a child and improper relationships between an educator and student.
The investigation into 33-year-old Isaac Aldaco began in January 2016, a few months after the San Felipe-Del Rio Consolidated Independent School District said Aldaco resigned.
Aldaco allegedly was involved in four separate incidents involving students at Dr. Lonnie Green Elementary School, where he worked as a fine arts instructor before his resignation from the position.
The findings of the investigation were turned over to a grand jury, which indicted Aldaco on at least one of those incidents, officials said.
Aldaco was living in San Antonio and led the Spanish-language choir at St. Padre Pio Church on the far north side of town. Aldaco reportedly turned himself in Friday afternoon. He's now held on a combined $150,000 bond.
