Girl kidnapped, sexually assaulted, San Marcos police say

Man lured elementary school-aged girl into car Monday

SAN MARCOS, Texas – A man kidnapped and sexually assaulted an elementary school-aged girl Monday in San Marcos, police said.

The girl told police that she was outside her apartment complex between 5:30 and 6:30 p.m., when a white car pulled up, police said. The man asked the girl to help him because his back was hurt. When she went to help him, he pulled her into the car, police said.

The man drove to a nearby parking lot, where he exposed himself and sexually assaulted her, police said.

The girl then walked home in the rain and told her mother about the incident, police said. The victim's mother called police.

The man was described to be a slender white or Hispanic male with short black hair and a short black beard, possibly a goatee. No age range was given.

The car he was driving looked like a 2011 Nissan Sentra with a possible dent on driver's side.
