SAN ANTONIO – Two people were killed following a three-car wreck that shut down Interstate 10 for several hours Saturday morning.
The Medical Examiner identified one of the people killed as Arturo Elias, 35. San Antonio police later confirmed Concepcion Rodriguez, 47, as the second person killed.

According to San Antonio police, around 4 a.m., Elias was assisting a driver involved in a crash. That is when the driver in another car crashed into the original accident scene.
Elias was hit and died at the scene.
The other two people were taken to University Hospital in critical condition. Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the hospital on Sunday afternoon.
Police are still investigating the cause of the accident.
