Joint Base San Antonio seeking public's input in survey

JBSA looking for feedback regarding environmental program

SAN ANTONIO – Joint Base San Antonio is inviting the public to participate in a survey that will be open until July 7, through which it hopes to get community feedback regarding its environmental program.

JBSA is hoping the community can provide it with information on public concerns and preferred ways for its officials to communicate with the public about its environmental cleanup efforts.

Feedback received from the community, elected officials and community leaders will be incorporated into a Community Involvement Plan to assist the base in developing effective and appropriate ways to inform and engage the public about expectations regarding cleanup.

The JBSA environmental restoration program is responsible for cleaning up contamination from past operations at active installations including Lackland AFB, Randolph AFB, Fort Sam Houston and Camp Bullis.

The community may participate in the survey in person, by phone, or online.

Call 210-988-6033 to schedule an in-person or phone interview, or click here to complete the online survey.
