SAN ANTONIO – A Bexar County jury sided Monday with a little girl’s foster family.
Sandra and Darryl Heaggans said they want to adopt “Kenya,” who had been in their care since she was 5 days old.

That child is now 18 months old. The former military couple sued Child Protective Services for custody.
Ruby Davis, the girl’s paternal aunt, said she and her husband are ready to adopt Kenya. But the Heaggans argued that they had concerns about her safety.
