KERRVILLE – Kerrville councilman Gary Stork and his wife Peggy are dead, and police are investigating their deaths as a case of murder-suicide.
Kerrville police say a concerned neighbor went to check on the Storks Saturday evening, and found them lying on the floor of their home.

The neighbor then called police.
Kerrville police officer Juan Trevizo said in a statement officers then responded and found the couple dead.
Trevizo says both died from gunshots to the head, and officers found a weapon at the scene.
Kerrville police say Gary Stork was a suspect in an Indecency with a Child in connection with a July 4 case.
They say that case was to go before a grand jury on Tuesday.
Autopsies on both Gary and Peggy Stork are pending.
