Male masseur arrested, charged with sexual assault

Auturo Chamberlain, 28, fondled woman during massage, affidavit said

SAN ANTONIO – A male masseur is behind bars after he attempted to give more to a client than just a massage, an arrest affidavit said.

Auturo Chamberlain, 28, is charged with sexual assault.

According to the arrest affidavit, Chamberlain assaulted a woman during a massage at the Massage Heights located off Interstate 10 West.

The affidavit said the woman made an appointment for two-hour massage and was assigned a masseur by the name of Art.

By the end of the session, Chamberlain began to fondle the woman's breasts and used his fingers to penetrate her, the affidavit said.

The victim said she closed her legs and tried to move away but it was too late.

The affidavit said Chamberlain then made the comment, "I hope you enjoyed my services" to which the woman replied "If you ever do that again...I have a gun in my purse and will shoot."

Massage Heights released the following statement in regards to Chamberlain's arrest:

"Massage Heights is a national franchisor with more than 140 independently owned and operated retreats across North America. Massage Heights has a zero tolerance policy against inappropriate behavior, including sexual misconduct. Franchisees are encouraged to conduct background and reference checks prior to hiring all licensed massage therapists. The local franchisee suspended the employment of its licensed massage therapist while we conduct an internal investigation of these allegations.
