SAN ANTONIO – A man accused of assaulting and shooting an ex-girlfriend is facing serious charges.
Delano Tyler Hernandez was arrested and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

An arrest affidavit said Hernandez was picking up items from the victim’s home when he became violent. The affidavit said the victim was able to lock him out and call police, but Hernandez returned once police left.
The second time around, Hernandez brought a gun and began shooting. Police said he fired five shots, hitting the victim once in the hip.
Hernandez is being held at the Bexar County jail.
