SAN ANTONIO – A man is in jail after police said he led them on a short chase with two children in the back seat.
Investigators said police tried to pull the man over for a traffic violation on W. W. White Road on the city’s East Side, but he didn’t stop.

Instead, the man drove off as police chased after him. He eventually stopped after 15 minutes.
Police said the man was a fugitive and had several warrants out for his arrest. The children were not hurt and family members were able to pick them up.
