The victim told police that she met with a man with "poofy dreadlocks" around 8 p.m. Saturday in Live Oak City Park. She said the man contacted her through an online app about an iPhone that she had for sale.
When they met at the park, she said he asked to see the phone, then told her he was going to take it and lifted up his shirt and showed what looked like a gun in his waistband.
Investigators searched the app and found someone with the same user name who had some items for sale. They pretended to be interested in some sneakers that he was selling and arranged to meet him. Police said they arrested him and found a BB gun in his pocket.
The victim identified Roebuck him as the man who had stolen her iPhone on Saturday.
