SAN ANTONIO – Terrel Williams, 25, is in custody Tuesday morning in connection to a deadly shooting on the city's Southeast Side, an arrest affidavit says.
Williams is charged with the murder in the shooting death of 25-year-old Lester Devezin.
According to the arrest affidavit, Devezin was in the driveway of a home in the 100 block of Koehler Court near South Presa Street when he was shot just before 7 p.m. on Sept. 18.
Investigators said there was tension between Williams and Devezin because they were dating the same woman, along with fighting over drug sale territory and customers.
The affidavit said following the shooting of Devezin, a third person fired back at Williams, injuring him.
Devezin was taken to an area hospital where he later died, the affidavit said.
