BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – A man in his 40s was shot to death Wednesday night at his ex-wife's apartment in far North Bexar County, according to the Bexar County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a reported shooting at 7:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of TPC Parkway. When they arrived, they found the man dead inside.
Neighbors told investigators that they heard two shots come from the apartment. Deputies recovered a handgun inside the apartment.
Sheriff's officials said an 11-year-old girl was in the apartment at the time of the shooting and is being questioned by investigators.
The man's ex-wife was detained and taken in for questioning. Deputies said she made the call to 911 after the shooting.
