Man in critical condition following shooting east of downtown Police say people in 2 vehicles fired at each other No description found
SAN ANTONIO – A man is in critical condition after being shot several times. The shooting happened just before 7 p.m. in the 900 block of Cherry Street, just east of downtown.
Police said they received several calls about a group of people in two separate cars firing at each other. When police arrived, they found the 28-year-old victim with at least three gunshot wounds.
The man was taken to SAMM-C for treatment. Police are searching for the two vehicles involved in the shootout.
Witnesses describe the vehicles as a beige Tahoe or Suburban-type vehicle and a red sedan.
