71-year-old man allegedly shot 28-year-old neighbor

SAN ANTONIO – A 71-year-old Southeast Side man has been taken in for questioning after shooting his 28-year-old neighbor, San Antonio police said.

Officers found both men after 11:30 p.m Sunday at an apartment complex in the 2300 block of Goliad Road, not far from Pecan Valley Drive and Interstate 37 South.

Police said the 28-year-old had been shot in the hip but the bullet went up and out through his back. He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in stable condition.

Police said he and the 71-year-old neighbor had been engaged in an ongoing feud, although they did not offer any specific reasons for the dispute.
