Man shot during neighborly dispute on South Side

Victim taken to hospital in critical condition

SAN ANTONIO – A man is in the hospital following a shooting that started as neighborly dispute, San Antonio police said Friday.

The shooting occurred just after 10 p.m. Thursday at an apartment complex in the 200 block Dullnig, near Koelher Court and South Presa Street on the city's South Side.

Police said the dispute started after a woman asked a resident to move their vehicle. At some point, the owner of the vehicle became upset and pulled out a gun, shooting the woman's boyfriend multiple times.

The couple managed to run from the scene to call for help.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
