SAN ANTONIO – A man standing outside his East Side apartment was shot in the arm overnight, San Antonio police said Wednesday.
The shooting was reported just before 2:30 a.m. at the Palms Apartments in the 3700 block of E. Commerce Street, located near E. Houston Street and Interstate 10.
Police said the victim was approached by the suspect and then fired upon. The suspect ran from the scene, police said.
The victim was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center for his injury. He could not give police a description of the shooter.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing, police said.
