Man shot overnight at South Side motel

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are searching for the person who shot a man overnight at South Side motel.

The shooting was reported just before midnight at the Rainbow Motel in the 4700 block of South Presa near East Southcross.

Police said a 26-year-old man was shot three times after he opened the door when someone knocked.

He was taken to San Antonio Military Medical Center in critical condition.

Police are searching for a white four-door Chevrolet sedan in connection with the shooting.
