Man shot, woman robbed after bar fight on West Side Incident took place around 2:30 a.m. near Southwest 36th St, Highway 90
SAN ANTONIO – A man was shot and a woman was robbed following a bar fight on the city's West Side, San Antonio police said Thursday.
The incident began around 2:30 a.m. near Southwest 36th Street and Highway 90.
Investigators said they believe the bar fight led to a shooting at a gas station. Officials said two men in a red car first slashed a woman's tires before beating up a 30-year-old man in the parking lot of the bar. Police said the suspects followed the pair to the gas station before shooting the man in the back.
The victim was taken to University Hospital in critical condition. The woman had her purse and phone stolen, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
