Man stabbed, shot at in home invasion on city's West Side

Victim suffers two stab wounds, no arrests made

SAN ANTONIO – A West Side man was stabbed and shot at Friday morning when two men forced their way into his home, police said.

San Antonio police said they found the 32-year-old man suffering from two stab wounds at a home in the 200 block of Landa Avenue.

The officers were answering a call around 2:15 a.m. that originally came in as a robbery when they found the victim.

Police said the victim told them that two men barged into his home after he answered a knock on the door. 

He said that after they stabbed him, he tried to run away and they fired shots at him.

The man was not hit by the gunfire. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of his stab wounds.

Police have not made any arrests.
