Memorial held for Howard E. Butt Jr. Oldest brother to H-E-B Chairman and CEO No description found
SAN ANTONIO – Funeral services for late Howard E. Butt Jr. were held Saturday morning.
Howard E. Butt Jr. was the oldest brother of HEB Chairman and CEO. He died Sunday at age 89.
Memorial services were held for him at 10 a.m. at the Trinity Baptist Church on 319 East Mulberry Street.
His three children released this statement:
"With great joy, we celebrate dad's arrival into the kingdom of heaven, where angels and trumpets are welcoming him home and where he will meet and forever be united with our father, son and holy spirit, who he has served."
HEB partners said on Facebook that Howard Jr. was an inspiring leader, philanthropist and humanitarian.
