SAN ANTONIO – Morgan’s Wonderland hosted its “Free to Soar” gala Saturday.
The gala is the park’s biggest fundraiser of the year. It helps to ensure children with special needs from across the county and their families can experience the thrill of the Oasis of Inclusion, which was founded by Gordon Hartman.

This year’s special guest was Amy Purdy, a motivational speaker and Paralympic snowboarder.
“Morgan’s Wonderland is incredibly unique because its accessible for everyone with all abilities, and that’s incredibly important because everyone deserves to have fun and get out and experience life," Purdy said.
KSAT 12’s Adam Caskey was also in attendance at the event.
