2018 Men's Final Four logo unveiled in SA

Unveiling kicks off 18 months of preparation

SAN ANTONIO – The NCAA and San Antonio Local Organizing Committee on Thursday unveiled the logo for the 2018 Men’s Final Four.

The unveiling took place before 1,000 elementary students, dignitaries and special guests at Mission Concepción Sports Park Gym.

The event kicks off 18 months of preparation as San Antonio gets ready to host the premier sports event.

It has been more than 10 years since the NCAA Men’s Final Four was held in the Alamo City.

Dan Gavitt, vice president of NCAA Men’s Basketball, Bruce Rasmussen, chair of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Committee for 2017-2018 and former Spur Sean Elliott were among dignitaries who spoke at the event.

The UTSA Band and cheerleaders also participated. Below is slideshow of the unveiling.
