NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Several gun shots were fired early Monday morning and caused damage at Canyon High School, according to New Braunfels police.
Police said an alarm was set off at Canyon High School around 1:20 a.m.

Officers responded and determined the alarm had been set off by a “volley of gun shots” that were fired at the main office of the school building, a news release said.
Police said there were several bullet holes found in the brick and through the windows of the school.
Damages were estimated at $3,500, according to the news release. No injuries were reported by police.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to those responsible for the crime.
