SAN ANTONIO – Another person has died after a bus accident in deep South Texas last weekend.
Atanacio Almendares Trejo, 83, of Weslaco died Thursday night at University Hospital in San Antonio.

Trejo and more than 50 other people were on a bus en route to Lucky Eagle Resort and Casino in Eagle Pass when the driver lost control of the bus.
Seven people died at the scene and another person died at the hospital hours after the crash. The National Transportation Safety Board said it will take over a year for the full investigation into the crash to be completed.
Several of the victims were brought to hospitals in San Antonio for treatment.
