Police investigating accidental shooting on North Side

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are investigating a possible accidental shooting of woman overnight.

The incident occurred just before 12:30 a.m. Thursday in the 7800 block of Chambers Road near Fredericksburg Road on the city's North Side.

Police said someone inside fired a gun, hitting the woman in the thigh.

The woman shot was taken to University Hospital.

Several people have been questioned but no arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.
