SAN ANTONIO – A 27-year-old man was shot to death Monday afternoon at a car wash on the city's East Side.
Police said the victim was arguing with another man before the shooting at around 1:15 p.m. in the 2800 block of Rigsby Avenue.
Officers found the victim lying on the side of the car wash with multiple gunshot wounds.
Police do not believe the victim was armed.
"There were a lot of people out here and thankfully nobody else was hit. That person, early indications are, they probably know each other, but again, what motivated this, I don't know," San Antonio police Sgt. Jesse Salame said.
Police believe there was only one shooter. They are looking for a red SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer, in connection with the shooting.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to call police.
